This community has much to be thankful for, wrestling-wise. For me personally, and hopefully for all of you as well, there is much to be thankful for outside wrestling too.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! We certainly have a lot to be thankful for as wrestling fans, that's for sure! I hope everyone takes a moment to appreciate all we have been blessed with in life.

Happy Thanksgiving Roar, and all the other posters

I am thankful we have such an excellent group of guys representing our university on this team.

The way Cael preaches gratefulness, it's as if every day is Thankgiving for him and his team. They set a great example.

Happy Thanksgiving, ya bunch of turkeys!

I'm really glad I discovered this forum. Ya'll some good stock. Enjoy the holidays, gents.

WARNING: The video makes some less-than-appropriate jokes...

Happy Turkey Day, everybody!

My Gwad I hated Thanksgiving and Christmas when I was wrestling. I was either eating basically nothing while everyone else was stuffing their faces or was putting on sweats and going for a long run after a decent meal. Neither was much fun. Easter was my holiday ;-)

I don't remember Thanksgiving being that much of a problem during wrestling season. It's been longer than I like to admit, but I don't think we practiced or had a tournament after Thanksgiving, so we basically had until Monday's practice to try to work off some of the calories. (And still 2 weeks before the 1st dual, so you had time to cut weight.)

Christmas on the other hand went from one of my favorite holidays to a day of frustration. The rest of the family was eating a great meal, lots of desserts, and assorted other things, and I spent the entire day worrying about weighing in at 8 am the next day for a tournament. And I wasn't cutting a lot of weight. I don't miss that experience.

nope, we had a scrimmage where you had to weigh-in every year, the Saturday after TDay... plus hunting season made it tough - leaving the woods and not eating at camp.
