The general impact of large natural disasters that impact major metro areas is negative in regard to economic growth. When the Q3 numbers come in lower than previously projected will this be blamed on the current administration? Probably so, just like all previous administration get blamed or credited for things beyond their control.
Is this fair? Is it logical?
