#3 - Babe Ruth
#4 - Lou Gehrigh
#5 - Tony Lazzeri

MLB didn't wear numbers on their Uniforms officially until 1929...this was the Yankees lineup/roster as they got their uniform number from their lineup..Lazzeri did wear both #5 and #6 tho....But you are 100% correct, I'd take them anyday over anyone.
