But, is it well-known who Attorney Silver's last high-profile client was?
And how that case came to be in their hands?
And what the result was?

Not seeing anything posted recently....maybe its not widely known - not that those questions are HUGELY relevant, but certainly at least as relevant as a lot of the stuff getting beaten like a rented mule. :)


It was, of course, the Chaka WhatEverHisNameIs (It slips my mind for the moment - the Chaka Philly area politico who got caught up in the "illegal campaign $$$ / money laundering" bit.) A case that the Head Honcho of Silver's law firm said they took on for purposes of getting publicity....because there were questions of whether or not Chaka could ever pay his legal bills.

Chaka Fattah - former US Congressman and Philadelphia mayoral candidate.

He's currently in the Federal jug on a 10-year vacation for money laundering, fraud, the usual.
