anyone watch this? As a dog lover and former soldier it was interesting to hear about the bonds developed between handler and dog. it was sad to hear about the couple of dogs dying, but the worst was SFC Dixon who tried to reunite with his dog, Mika, after it was transferred to police duty in Mississippi. The k9 cop who had served with Mika and taken Mika into his home wouldn’t give the dog back to SFC Dixon or even let the two see each other again before Mika passes away. The cop argued that nobody told he he would have to give Mika back to the original handler (SFC Dixon) and Mika was part of his family.
Is there anyone who actually sides with the cop? I think what the cop did was selfish and disrespectful to the service and dedication that SFC Dixon and Mika had together. Thoughts?
