Why are kids today so hell bent on sticking things up others guys asses? That's just friggin' gross. If that was me as the receiver I would be kicking someone's ass and leave the frat, it is so not worth it. This isn't anything new though. I think in the early to late 2000s in the Philly area, there were several high school hazing incidents like this(wrestling team at the high school in warminster, football team in Doylestown). ewwe

2. Apparently SPM's replacement spoke and was quoted as saying something about the university's culpability is similar to Joe Paterno all over again.

Those 2 points immediately made me roll my eyes and dismiss their press conference for a lack of credibility.

That wasn't SPM's replacement, that was the kid who reported hazing at his frat and Damon Sims did nothing, so he dropped out of school. That's quite the U-Turn your reading comprehension took there.
