This week brought many changes including a new leader. With a huge weekend of football ahead, the Heisman race is in Championship November mode. http://lastwordoncollegefootball.co...college-football-heisman-rankings-week-seven/
I think Saquon is done. Regardless of the reason, he had 2 poor games, late in the season, on a national stage. I don't even think a 300 yard game against Rutgers would do much because people will think he pads his stats against poor opponents. When it's all said and done, I think he will finish 3rd.I hate having to root against Baker Mayfield (or any other player) as oppoed to simply rooting for Barkley. Unfortunately, the tendency that teams are choosing to focus on shutting his running down and the reality that (some combination of) our scheme and O line talent can't just run the ball when they want to like Stanford or Wisconsin. There are still three games left and if Barkley has 200 plus AP yards and enough WOW plays, then he could get back into it. It would be a whole lot easier if Mayfied threw 3-4 interceptions per game, in losing performances.

Well enough v the mighty tOSU (pre-total exposure by Iowa) that the posting of the flag in Columbus will likely become part of Heisman lore, like desmond’s pose. Although I don’t want to predict, but ...How has Mayfield produced against teams with a defense. Obviously, OK State doesn't have one.
I think you’re probably right. Would be easier to demonstrate my agreement by clicking “like”, but I can’t purport to “like” it.I think Saquon is done. I don’t think Barkley can win without help, but if Mayfield plays poorly and Oklahoma loses AND Barkley goes back to doing Barkley stuff, then he has a chance. This is a longshot, however.I think Saquon is done. Regardless of the reason, he had 2 poor games, late in the season, on a national stage.
