Henri Legrane Live

Snyder up against Thiele of Allemagne. Your learning for today is that Allemagne is apparently French for Germany. I thought it was a pasta dish.

Snyder goes behind for 2.
Chest wrap for 2.
Chest wrap for 2 more.
Snyder is pushing the pace, holding center.
I think Thiele is tired.
6-0 Snyder at the break.

Period 2

Leg pull for Snyder to a double, converts for 2!
Leg pull to a step-out for Thiele. Now 8-1.
Step-out for Snyder. 9-1
Single for Snyder and converts for 2!
11-1 Snyder!

Valencia down 2-3 at the break to Ramazonov, the Russkie. Sorry, had the wrong mat on, and missed the first half.

V now with a TD, up 4-3.
Valencia looks really big for this weight.
Now another 2. 6-3
Gives up a go behind. 6-5, but challenging that it was a slip, I believe.
Challenge lost, so it's 6-6, with the Russian in the lead. No, check that, I think Zahid might be winning, but not sure why, since the Russian had the last TD.
Russian with the TD, reversal by Zahid, but it's too late.
Zahid goes down 7-8.

I caught the end of it... looks like Zahid was gassed in the final 2 mins

Green up now against an Argentinian.

Green goes up 1-0 on a step out.
Now an ankle pick for 2!
3-0 lead going to the break.

Period 2
Scramble leads to 2 for Green.
Exposure for 2 more. 7-0
Another TD. 9-0
Another shot by Green. Chest wrap by ARG. Stallmated.
And, Green gets the final TD. 11-0 final.

But, it's the last, highest scoring move, right? Which would have been the Russians TD to make it 6-5, before the lost challenge.

I don't believe that is correct. First, it's who has the highest scoring move. If that is tied it is who has the MOST of the highest scoring move and if that is tied it is who scored last.

Yianni next bout on Mat B.
Then the Dake/Finesilver and Gilman/Arujau matches will probably be on simultaneously.

Repechage has started already which is strange. Usually only those that lose to the finalists go to the repechage (wrestle backs to us).

YD up now against some guy with a bunch of consonants in his name from Poland.

Quick TD, exposure. 4-0
No idea what happened, but they go par terre. YD up 5-0
Now 6-0.
Another TD, and will be 8-0 heading to the break.

Period 2
YD in a scramble, splits. And, he exposes POL for the 10-0 tech.

Gilman v. Arujau

Arujau on the clock
He gets a pushout during the clock. 0-1
Scramble goes OOB, which is a good thing, as Arujau had position.
End of 1.

Period 2
Arujau with another pushout, but Gilman gets a quick TD. 2-2, Gilman up.
Arujau in on a shot, but Gilman stuffs it.
And a repeat.
Gilman with good movement, but Arujaur controlling ties.
Now Gilman with the TD, and exposure. 6-2
Arujau in on a late shot, but Gman stuffs it. And, that's how it will end.

The NLWC room is doing Gman some good.

Gritty win for TG, Vito is very good. But Thomas poured it on a bit late, 6-2

Suriano up next on B.

Suriano v. Azer

Suriano a quick 2.
Azer warned for passivity.
Suriano takes advantage of the break, and gets another TD. 4-0
Now exposure. 6-0

Period 2
About halfway through, ref didn't like something by AZE. 7-0
Now Suriano gets warned for something.
And, this one will end 7-0 for Suriano.

Re par terre: I think the Pole crawled out of bounds. Caution and 1. Then when he was down, he did something else that earned another caution and 1.

just got back from my run, thanks for keeping up with the PBP.

pretty much what @NoVa Lion said but it goes through each level from top to bottom, so for instance a 6-6 match with 4+2 vs 4+1+1 would go to the 4+2 even if the 4+1+1 scored last.

Gwiz up 1-0 after 1 on Jere Heino.

Period 2
Now 3-0 after a TD.
Then 5-0 exposure.
Now 7-0 TD.
Exposure for Gwiz to top position.
They reset, Gwiz in on a shot. Heino tries to chest wrap, but Gwiz gets the TD.

11-0, Gwiz.

Snyder up on A vs Baran (Poland). So far Snyder 3-1 at break, all step outs, but Snyder looking in control.

Snyder go-behind for two more, 5-1. Step out 6-1. Baran gets a single but settles for a step out. 6-2, two minutes left. Both guys with body locks, but Snyder smartly pushes out, 7-2. Lazy shot from Baran, easy go-behind for Snyder, it'll end 9-2.
