Here is the porn sent and received on state computers

Speaking of Frank Noonan...

Recall:

Shortly after Sandusky's initial arrest, Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Frank Noonan publicly chastised Paterno. After admitting that the winningest coach in college football history met his legal requirement by reporting the abuse to his superiors, Noonan went to say that Paterno should have done more given the nature of the allegations.

"I think you have the moral responsibility, anyone," Noonan said during a press conference. "Not whether you're a football coach or a university president or the guy sweeping the building. I think you have a moral responsibility to call us."

So was Randy Feathers - go figure!?!? Sounds like the PA OAG and State Police were scumbag hypocrite central.

The most revealing aspect to the emails to Noonan is that if one is to say we can't accuse him based solely on his name being attached to emails by others then Freeh's most damning evidence against Joe Paterno must be dismissed entirely.

My opinion: The whole issue to me is the workplace issue. By bringing it into the workplace, it impacts many other people, and there is no separation of a manager's personal and professional approach to right and wrong in the workplace. Trust is compromised and often gone for good.
I'm certain that many people who consistently make responsible and ethical decisions in the workplace enjoy looking at porn in private. Many people find they can separate those mindsets. Some cannot, and they need to be dealt with at the workplace when that type of interference comes up. No different to me than when many people need to separate a religious or political belief with what is legally responsible in the workplace.
A responsible professional keeps his/her company out of trouble by adhering to policies and laws and therefore not creating unnecessary and unneeded distractions. Allow and help people do their best work and contribute to the best of their ability day-in and day-out. If an employee feels there is blatant or implied biases against them, they feel an artificial barrier is in the way of their being able to do their best. When people feel unencumbered by those barriers, the company as a whole performs better.
Just my approach to HR / Management / Leadership when it comes to employee engagement.

I agree.

How many lawsuits do you think this will spark from people claiming malicious or false prosecution? They have opened up a huge can of worms with their idiotic behavior.
You and Palmettolion have brought up the same point, and it's a very interesting one. This could cost PA a LOT of $$$.

I have basically been self-employed since I graduated and I have never worked within a large organization. So I guess I'm just not seeing how this would impact other people. If somebody views porn, I don't think it matters whether they are viewing it at work, during a break or 5 minutes before they walk into the office. If they are keeping it to themselves then it is no different than somebody who is ultra-religious but doesn't voice their beliefs. I haven't been following the Kane situation so I am assuming there are facts that I am missing.

Lets assume for the sake of argument that the images were neither sent to nor seen by any woman, ever. It is nevertheless the case that women and African Americans and gays and other people who are the targets of this hateful BS also work in those offices. These are their bosses chuckling about this evil horseshit. Oh, and by the way, PA has laws against rape and assault and domestic violence and all kinds of other things wherein black folk and women just MIGHT be victims. These are the Prosecutors and top cops in charge of bringing the criminals to justice. I do not want a prosecutor who thinks I am a joke because of my race or gender or orientation prosecuting a felon who injured me or my family. Nobody does.

Of course these images were seen by women, you can be almost certain of that, but it does not matter.

And there's also the issue that they should not be indulging their personal perversions on the people's dime and resources. These people are supposed to be "public servants" paid with taxpayer funds - they should not be indulging personal entertainment activities on the taxpayer's time, resources and dime.

I was trying to avoid the whole "jack-fodder" aspect since I haven't had dinner yet. Well, I guess I'll go ahead and skip the oyster stew.:)

Dem, et al,.....where does this 'go next?

Seems most likely that someone is going to file an EEO or state human rights complaint. Just a guess but it seems more likely than any kind of criminal stuff. There are some special duties on prosecutors, though, which could cause Frankie some professional heartburn.

Noonan...................is the in your face MORAL guy who is IMMORAL.............and it was his loud mouth that really started the whole targeting of Joe!!!!!!!!!!!

Guess Noonan just did not do his moral duty...........

The e-mails themselves are easily grounds for termination. How that hasn't happened already to Fina is certainly interesting considering the others who were outed in the first round have already been removed, including a PA supreme court justice. However, what's more concerning is both the arrogance they display in sharing these images and who they shared them with. Prosecutors and judges sharing racial, sexist porn?

Beyond the content of the e-mails, the arrogance they displayed in openly sharing and joking about racial and HIGHLY sexist images on an OAG server clearly highlights how confident they were that they were above reproach. If Kane is going to argue that she was a woman caught up in a good ol boys network, she'll have plenty of ammo.

All self-respecting women, especially those who live in PA, should get out the torches and pitchforks ( as well as pen and paper for LTEs) and demand that these sexist, racist, misogynistic hypocrites be fired immediately. I am mad as hell.

In the stuff from Exhibit A, there is an email exchange dated May 11, 2010.

A sender comments on a pic by sending an email to several recipients, including Fina, saying: "It's the agents waiting for the next Bonusgate assignment."

The next email is from Fina on the same date and says: "How friggin' gay are you?"

Also, many of the emails in the exhibits are sent from government accounts to people outside government employment. As I understand it, that is never allowed....for any reason not related to business....porn or no porn. So, that is a violation in and of itself.
