A summation of the DOJ's investigation of itself-
1. The ACLU is correct. The FISA process is broken and has been for years.
2. But our motives are pure with respect to surveillance of the Trump campaign. Despite the noted 17 significant inaccuracies or omissions. Just trust us. Don't worry about Sen. Richard Blumenthal's (D-CT) misgivings.
3. For any alleged misconduct by FBI employees those employees are now gone and therefore, outside the scope of our investigation. In other words, don't worry about it.
4. There was agent bias on both sides of the political spectrum. It's just that ones having anti-Trump bias were running the show (Operation Cross Fire Hurricane).

Fact is the findings don't support the conclusion. No surprised there. I worked in the federal govenment. I've seen this before. It's a classic example of CYA (Cover Your Ass) action. Thank you Michael Horowitz. You're a real foot soldier who sticks to job description only.
