Today is a tough loss. A really tough loss. 7-3 with two top tier opponents ahead. All the momentum built from Maryland and Illinois is gone. You get a bye week to dwell on this for even longer. Now I'd be surprised if we squeeze out a win in the next 2 games. 8-4 or 9-3 is soooo much better than 7-5. They'll still get the bowl practices and bowl game but the air in this season just was let out big time.
Young teams make mistakes, but there's no excuse for the way that game started and psu punting 10 times before they got anything going. Sad to see so many weapons on a football field and we can't figure out ways to get them going beyond the Wildcat and a trick play that almost was a disaster. Forget the time management at the end. You have 30 minutes of missed opportunities throughout the game.
