Hey all of you who said our O was GREAT

You could see this coming a mile away. Even against bad teams we were mediocre offensively
Yep, but anyone who discussed it was called being ‘negative’ or a fake fan. They were met with condescending ‘5-0’ or ‘we deserve better’ responses. Plus, the great ‘stat’ posts that clearly showed PSU would win that occupied much of the week.

Well, here we are. First good team PSU has played this year and it was ugly.

Olu got himself dusted today by JTT...not ideal for your supposed best player.

Meanwhile, Kalen again got torched. How he has a 1st round grade (or at least people who regard him as such) is ridiculous. Hardly ever makes impact plays. I think Dixon is much better

We have two great backs. The lack of a great run game starts and ends with the OL.
Why the offense went away from the run is puzzling. They were having some success and just abandoned it. Allar was off the mark and receivers were dropping passes. The PSU TD off the board …..I wish I had simulcast to see when the penalty occurred. And last, when Day goes for the TD over the FG I thought that was a dumb ass decision only to be outdone by CJF going on 4th down with over 7 minutes left. Punt and hope your Def. makes a play.
That’s all I have to say I’m out"……..

An understatement, That #44 completely took over

I was one who really thought there was something more to this offense. I was wrong and they have been exposed as completely inept. It's a real shame cause the defense is legitimately one of the best in the country.

For our resident wrestling fans: my blue and white glasses now look like Ms Lee's.

I did not like Franklin's call to go for it on 4th with 7 minutes left. The punter may have been the MVP today pinning them inside the 20 and 10 several times.

And quite frankly, the defense had a better chance of scoring. Punt and pin them down AGAIN.

What kind of person thinks it’s OK to make an “I told you so” post after an absolutely gut wrenching loss.

It says much more about you than anyone else

Why wouldn't you do that?
It's not like we're friends here. Many of us have been attacked for have valid concerns and how we're supposed to baby people's feelings after a loss? Come on.

Allar was a hell of a lot worse than"off the mark". His 11 for 32 was the worst QB passing stat since Chris Ganter 7 for 23 against Wisconsin 2004. And I looked it up.

Unfortunately those of us who could see this coming and were bashed for questioning the lack luster offense have every right to. We weren't true fans. I guarantee all of us who saw it coming whether on our couch or stuck in Columbus were screaming at the TV just like the ones that were DILLUSIONAL.

So if we scored 45 on OSU no one would say I told you so? And I would have been the first to say thank God I was wrong. Unfortunately, too many were excited about stats against weak opponents. The offense looked bad since WVU but the stats said differently. Today we saw it was the eye test that was the true measure of this offense. Going into the game the D ranked LAST in Red Zone Defense....but at no point in time did any of us think the D was bad.

Agree...I'd never make a post to rub salt after the fact...but I was called a "scUM poser troll" when I questioned the lack of explosive plays, or pointed out that much of our ground game numbers was due to garbage time and Beau/Potts/Tank. The 20th new topic this week calling out anyone that expressed concerns about the offense heading into Saturday was a bit much.

His QB play reminded me of Matt Seneca and Ganter. I hope he recovers from this performance, but his literal crying about it tells me that he may not have the mental toughness to be a starting QB. This does not bode well for the future, but I hope I am wrong. Not the performance I expect from a pro-lite QB. I don’t know what his NIL numbers are, but if he continues to play this way, they are not going to be very high.

And remember I asked a question, I wanted to know what they were watching. Because they clearly weren't watching the same team that played yesterday. Maybe they were just watching statcast every week.

As in most things in life, there's a proper balance to be found in the middle...between mindless cheerleading that takes criticism as betrayal...and bitchy carping that finds fault in everything.

Again: we could still have a great season. It was not in the cards that we were going to spring the upset in Columbus with the young QB and issues on O. But beat Michigan and all will be instantly forgiven as the media jackals shift on cue to blathering about Franklin's "redemption."

“DILLUSIONAL”? Proving my point all over again. You’re revealing more about yourself with every post.

Not really if you thought the O was good before OSU you were dillusional....you dont have an historically poor offensive performance if before this game you were good.

Has anyone done a welfare check on our stat man?

I hope all is well in his own little world.

What do those numbers refer to?
Drew Allar was 12 for 31 passing(the real stat. The garbage time crap when Osu went prevent doesn't count). That percentage is the second worst passing percentage in modern day Penn State history, only 3rd stringer and legacy kid(he had no business even making the team, his only other offer was Slippery Rock) Chris Ganter was worse, going a nearly impossible 6 for 26 against Wisconsin in the dark years.

O for 15 was Penn States all time record worst on third down. The 1 conversion in garbage time doesn't count.

The 12 for 31 was worse than any other performance by a QB at Penn State ever. Not 6-4, not even any of the other dark years performances when Zach Mills was throwing with a broken arm practically to FAR FAR FAR worse receivers than we have now. You want to see bad receivers? 03 and 04 were probably the worst I have ever seen.

This is the reason I said Allar choked. This kid is nowhere near that bad. He can have bad games the rest of his life and not even come close to crapping the bed like that again.
