left who I have any faith in. Now that the 17th has come and gone I hope Sue and the past letterman truly got a chance to celebrate what it is they represented for all of us. Is there anything left to review or is this officially a dead issue until the lawsuits? I am not going to bash the A9 but I certainly hope PS4RS takes a good hard look before endorsing these folks again or we see a groundswell to diminish their influence [PS4RS not the A9]
It is nauseating to see so much ill formed rhetoric spewing from the media and the masses with no response from our leaders. Even after 5 years no one tries to correct the record publically save folks like Franco.
Anyway anything from your viewpoint on the horizon?

The other 2 folks who i have faith in btw are Wensilver and Ryan.

Best of luck

Roswellion

Doesn't appear anything has changed. If we thought that somehow yesterday was going to mark the beginning of a new era, then we have been duped again.

This is the nature of politics and the like. This particular circumstance is very much analogous to a candidate who runs on a platform of change and reform. Once elected he/she is absorbed by the system, becomes comfortable with the personal benefits and status it has to offer and hence, becomes just another small part of the overall problem. Nothing new here. Unfortunately, it is the way of the world. Not surprised in the least by the silence we are experiencing. And we wonder why much of the population in this country doesn't bother to vote.

Point of clarity: Referring to the A9, not Dem.

Jim Cummings: That gif is friggin' hilarious. Not what I was expecting, or what the dude watching in that GIF was expecting, either. LOL...

Amen, I think it was John McKain who said " we all get elected to come to Washington and change the world, and we come to Washington and it changes us"

the lack of preparation, PR, or any kind of communication strategy by the university in the middle of all this is embarrassing. How can they honor someone without first making sure people know the facts? Why haven't they addressed the Freeh report before all this?

Because most everyone that has an opinion about PSU/Paterno formed that opinion 5 years ago, and short of some earth-shattering news those opinions are not going to change. Very few are sitting on the fence. The fans and the university can continue to honor Paterno in the future and there will a certain level of negative reaction. Just don't expect everyone else to be dancing in the streets to celebrate.

If Demlion runs again, he has my vote. I reluctantly went with the incumbents last time, but I'm losing some confidence in them until I hear good explanations for what has been going on lately.
