Did anyone see the Hidlay/Early match? I was just wondering how that went down. Pretty surprised to hear he lost. I was viewing 157 as Nolf as Tier 1, Hidlay as Tier 3 and everyone else tiers below. That may still be true but surprised he lost.

Didn’t see match but not totally surprised. Hidlay had a phenomenal year last year. He’s positionally good, strong, kid, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see the taller, athletic, funky kids take him in a match here or there like a Berger or even the Mondays.

Young Early was a top notch recruit coming out of high school. Now that he is in an educational environment that will allow him to grow as a student and athlete do not be surprised if he continues to trend upward.

What school does Early attend? I am familiar with Hidlay from his match with Nolf last year. TIA
