Valencia is outstanding and I'm very happy he is going to a school like Stanford

Their resident expert also said they were more or less a lock for Sealey when they weren't even Top 5. He also said they finished 2nd for Meyer Shapiro but they weren't in the running for him. I'm sure he has sources who probably are just way too optimistic (Mr. Arnold?) and tells him the fluff. I can't see a kid who is prioritizing a Stanford degree right now flipping to Iowa bottom line.

If we do not count titles won by the greatest of all, Spencer Lee, then doesn't Stanford have more individual titles won over the past 3 or 4 years than Iowa. Plus Stanford's coach has more kids winning more individual titles over the past 10 years or so than TnT.

The kid is smart enough to get into Stanford, I doubt he isn't smart enough to avoid the Iowa grind and bullshyt.

I love a good rant, carry on any time! I am a spoiled, novice wrestling fan meaning I follow PSU because it's PSU and I'm a fan and a alum. I just don't follow recruiting that much and figure Cael knows best. Isn't that a great place to be?
