These have been trickling in over the last couple days but Penn State just released its complete list Wednesday afternoon.

For those who don't know, an NHL development camp is basically just what it sounds like. Teams invited prospects as well as unaffiliated, free agent players and give them a few days of instruction from their coaching staff. Obviously, any time you can place your players in this type of high-skill environment (plus get an extra few days of practice time for them) it's pretty valuable as a college program.

There are 15 players with Penn State connections in NHL dev camps this summer:

Draft Picks:

Evan Barratt, Blackhawks
Aarne Talvitie, Devils
Cole Hults, Kings
Denis Smirnov, Avalanche
Kevin Wall (incoming freshman), Hurricanes.

(Note, Nikita Pavlychev is a Pens draft pick and is not attending their camp. He didn't last year either. Note entirely sure what's up with that.)

Free Agents:

Peyton Jones, Islanders
Liam Folkes, Islanders
Sam Sternschein, Islanders
Nate Sucese, Bruins
Brandon Biro, Penguins
Alex Limoges, Red Wings
Paul DeNaples, Canucks.

Alumni:

Chase Berger, Penguins
Ludvig Larsson, Devils
Andrew Sturtz, Senators
