She is claiming she won't be letting her vaccinated 16yo son go to a camp this summer -- even though it's apparently something he really really enjoys -- because of Covid risk!
Are you kidding me? Even without a vaccination, her 16 year old son assumes more risk simply by traveling there and back than he does from contracting covid. Vaccinated, his risk is so close to zero, it literally cannot accurately be measured without an unreasonable amount of data to analyze.
And then she goes on to compare the number of recorded cases a year ago (when we knew we had a high percentage of the population still vulnerable, were testing at a fraction of the rate we are today, and were still 7 months away from a vaccine) to the number of recorded cases today, as if there is even the slightest bit of relavence between those two numbers.
The things about her son can be chalked up to unreasonable emotional fear, but the comparison of case numbers as a way to argue that there is still just as much risk today as there was a year ago exposes her gross incompetence for the position.
And she's getting all huffy puffy and condescending as if the question wasn't fair or reasonable!?
She should have been relieved of her duties the second she walked out of that room. When is Biden -- or whomever instructs him what to say/do -- going to replace her? How much more damage does she need to do to our country before she's gone???
