Homer Alert: We get Brian Griese Saturday

Doh!

I like BG doing games...I think he does a pretty good job. That said, I hope we are one day good enough again to get our own alumnus, Todd Blackledge (best in the business IMO), to do some of our games (meaning we'll be the prime time game of the week)!!

Who cares who the announcers are. Much of the game I mute the sound on my TV. Years ago, NBC conducted an experiment and broadcast a game without announcers. I enjoyed watching that game so much, that I have adopted the practice of tuning out the announcers. It's amazing how the mind works. I find that I see more when my ears aren't being bombarded with trash.

We will revisit this Saturday.

I enjoy Griese and think that he is relatively impartial. He did our game against CFU and was showing a lot of man-love for Scott Frost (who I agree is a solid young coach), despite a lot of noise about the animosity between Michigan's '97 team, and Scott Frost.

It's like a good woman. They often look better when they are quiet. ;)

That's like Dick Honig doing Penn State games as the "rules analyst" for the BTN network. That is BTN essentially laughing at Penn State.

Griese is one of the rare examples of a son who is about on the same level as his father in broadcasting. Doesn't happen very often, but BG is great. Sounds just like his old man is does a nice job.

The game is on ABC, which has literally nothing to do with the BTN, so how exactly are they laughing at PSU?

Greasey is a bad as his old man. You can bet we're gonna get a dose of the midwestern inbred officiating as well
