OK haven't done this before so forgive me if it doesn't work. This is inspired by Diceman's eligibility spreadsheet - I made a Google Sheet that lists the projected line-up of every team for next year. Hopefully this will be easy to edit from year-to-year and as always, mistakes, suggestions are welcome and encouraged.

Access the Sheet here.

Hope everyone enjoys

Outstanding, KidNit..... Always enjoy things like this and kudos for putting together. I tend to just focus on the B1G and a handful of other contenders like Okie St, Cornell, Missouri, and some ACC squads.

Thanks guys, this was started a while back so there are bound to be some issues, but fortunately it's a quick fix - i.e. West Virginia has a bunch of guys that aren't there anymore. So comments definitely welcome

KidNittany, that's one reason it's so difficult to do something like that this far out...you really don't know who is (or isn't) going to end up on what roster until school starts up again in September.

True but it does give us one helluva offseason fix to get through the doldrums.

Thank you KidNit for your time and effort. Much appreciated.

KidNittany - Would you kindly enable the sheet to be exported? Not edited, just downloaded.

PS ASU's lineup really pops out at you from the middleweight on up. It will be interesting to see if they target Justin Mejia to bolster their lightweights.

...great job...
...now if you want something to do in your "spare" time...
...as I see it you have 76 teams included in your compilation...
...why not go one step further and rank the entries in each weight class from 1 to 76... then we could speculate how a dual meet would work out between any 2 teams on the list by merely examining the rank for each team's 10 participants - the higher ranked wrestler should win between the 2 participants ...
...you might even suggest that a ranking difference of less than 15 would be a regular decision (3pts), 15-30 would be a major (4 pts), 30-50 would likely be a TF (5 pts) and greater than 50
would probably be a fall (6 pts) ...!
...but thas jes my opinion...

Doubt they will -- already have a commitment from AZ resident Brandon Courtney, high-ranked recruit in the same class and weight as Mejia.

Per WrestleStat, here is the eligibility breakdown for ASU: link

Unless ASU believes they have a good chance of landing Roman Bravo-Young (AZ native) the following year, there appears to be room for both Mejia and Courtney, with Mejia at 133. FLO ranks Courtney at 120 and Mejia at 126 for the upcoming season so it's not a stretch.

Additionally, Dalton Brady is an upperclassman and the clock starts ticking on the Valencia Era this fall. That could lead to some urgency on ASU's part.

Back to RBY. Imagine ASU down the road if the landed a package deal of RBY and Gable Steveson. They have already lured Benick out of Minnesota. Sunkist Kids and ASU co-ed's certainly don't hurt.

Could you also go back and do years 1997-2015 if you got time? That way we could see how
The greatest teams ever compare!

Much appreciated Kid! I swear, you and quite a few others make this the best board on the net... hands down. The work many of you put on things like this is just simply amazing. And you do it so the the rest of us are informed and get as much wrestling related material as possible. That's just downright cool as f*** and proves wrestling fans are the greatest of any sport. I almost feel worthless at times, as if I bring absolutely nothing to the board. Lol. Oh well... I'll try harder. Uhh... I think I will anyway...

I adjusted the settings, give it a try (full disclosure I don't know if it'll work or not, but I'm hoping I clicked the right buttons)

I took some liberties with the sheet to make it more easy to view, using conditional formatting. And added stats as well. Only change was to the asterisks, which I had to modify b/c asterisks are wildcards to excel/sheets. Feel free to steal back and do whatever with.

Link here.

Buzzy Maines will beat out Dustin Conti, most likely, at 197 for Clarion. With that said, that list is fantastic. Excellent job, amazing stuff.

Made a bunch of changes based on developments. Tikk, I love your formatting idea, do you mind if I overhaul it to match the color coding? Definitely better than the superscript formatting

Sure, do whatever you want with mine or yours. Realize that if you're going to use conditional formatting you can't key the condition to anything involving asterisks because sheets views asterisks as wildcards.

Wow, really? I didn't consider that. I guess it makes sense from Google's standpoint but on sheets that seems kind of dumb. Good to know

That's why, in mine, I changed your asterisks to
# Junior
! Sophomore
@ Freshman
^ True Freshman

Having the availability of a wildcard is useful in numerous other respects, so it's actually a good idea. Also, not sure if "?" = singular character wildcard but I'd assume it does.

Good job kid. Lots of work u did.
For Iowa at 141 will be most likely Carlton or Turk, Hollaway will go hwr till Stoll is ready most likely in Jan.

The majority of wrestlers that go to ASU do not get much better...Not all but most in fact get worse !!!!

Evidence?

Considering Zeke has been there 2 years and shifted nearly all of his name recruits, this seems way premature. Though something that gets posted almost every time that school class discussed.

EDIT: a whole bunch of bad autocorrect by my phone that I'm just now catching ... Zeke "shirted," not "shifted." Also, "school gets discussed," not "school class." SMH at my phone. At least this is better than what it did with GPS this weekend.

Shit man, that's awesome!

Their intrasquad dual will be somewhere around the end of October. I should be able to get a good look at them then. I agree that the jury is still out on whether Zeke is going to build a program that can contend for a national title, but keep in mind that a lot of good recruits are convinced that he can do it. Otherwise they would not have chosen to go there.

Did we forget he ran a successful program at UPenn?

He did run a good program at Penn. In fact, one of Penn's major supporters is a good friend who I grew up with, and he has very good things to say about Zeke. The difference here is that we are talking about a team that can contend for the national championship. Right now, there are probably only 5 or 6 teams that could be considered as really serious contenders, and there are maybe 10 more that could jockey for the remaining spots in the top ten. The open question is whether Zeke can get the Sun Devils to a level where they will be a really serious contender, and I think that still remains to be demonstrated. However, I will add that I think Zeke is the most likely coach out of all the also rans to push his program to the next level.
