Got 2 tickets for the Iowa match Saturday. Can anyone recommend a decent hotel close to the BJC for a reasonable price?
Thanks

No idea about hotel availability but SC is still not that big a place. Any hotel in SC and the surrounding townships is within 10 minutes of the BJC. I always stay at the Hilton on E. College, which is less than a mile from the BJC.

Hilton Garden and Hampton Inn are filling and $185-195, so not necessarily cheap. Lamar is 30 minutes away and has a Hampton Inn for $106

With a bit of research (betterbidding.com) and using Priceline you could probably get a much, much better deal. The area on Priceline, State College North, would only be a few miles away. Priceline Express hides the name of the hotel, but they have a 2.5 star for $63, that betterbidding.com says is probably Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott. You can also name your own price.... Better bidding has lists that try to identify which hotels you would likely get by bidding.

Personally, if I were looking I would bid about $55 dollars on Priceline for a 2.5 star in State College North.... You would probably end up at Hampton or Holiday Inn Express right off the Toftrees exit on 322, or Possibly the Fairfield mentioned above. You could walk to Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse or Outback from the first two hotels listed.

These prices can change quickly based upon demand.

Thanks for the info.
Appreciate it everyone.

I often use AirBnB when I'm staying at State College, but the prices vary heavily depending on what's going on. Football weekends you're obviously going to pay through the nose but prices can beat the hotels on weekends when not a lot is going on. Don't know if the Iowa match at BJC would constitute a basis for a surge.

It wouldn’t, most of the fans will be driving home and not nearly a large enough number of fans to warrant a big hike will be there overall
