How funny is it that The U is 0-2, and the FSU situation has become surreal

and almost pathetic? After watching Miami try to recreate the atmosphere of the 1980s and 1990s in their game against Florida (not that Florida was any better), I love seeing that program lose. As for FSU, has any program that was competing for National Championships less than five years ago become so irrelevant. In case you didn't see it, their stadium looked like a typical Pitt game at Heinz Field in the fourth quarter and OT of their game this past Saturday against ULM? Taggart can't have much more time at that job.

I highly doubt there were people sleeping and enjoying free beverages at FSU.

Miami just can’t seem to get it together. Every time you think they might be on the way back they lose and tailspin for a while.

I think the loss of the Orange Bowl stadium really hurt them. That was a great stadium for college football and it’s a shame the city/ university allowed it to deteriorate and bulldozed it. Now they drive 40-45 minutes from campus to play.

FSU has been nothing short of a dumpster fire the past few years. I’m really surprised how far they’ve fallen since the Bowden era.

Fisher left FSU for a reason. The tank was empty. Then they hired a terrible coach and it will only get worse.

What is working against the formerly powerful Florida schools is additional scholarships with fau, usf, fiu and the arrival if UCF.

The days of Bowden stockpiling talent at junior college are over.

Miami is improving. They had a tough opener and second game.

Why was/is the tank empty at FSU? Last week, someone posted their recruiting rankings the last 4 or 5 years. All top 10. What has happened to all of those players? I know rankings aren't perfect but all of those players couldn't have been busts. Where are they?

I wont say is I will say was. Fisher saw the talent and realized it wasnt there. He left.

But that's what I mean. Successive Top 10 recruiting classes for the past 5 years. Where did all of that talent go?

Living here in FL and a transplant from PA and PSU alum great to see T U and FSU lose. Apparently FSU has a 17M$ buyout on Taggart but the article mentioned they are wealthy and would be willing to pay.

Let's not forget about those in Knoxville.

I addressed that. Taggert is a terrible coach.

Overrated talent to begin... and now bad coaching.

I guess. I mean I know the rankings are far from perfect but it's hard to believe that they could be so far off as to the same team year after year after year. But it's apparent the coach is doing nothing to bring the talent out of the players.

How about saying nice things about Mack Brown and UNC. Two very good wins ( believe South Carolina was away).
