This is a question without sarcasm or criticism. I played and coached sports but not football. Therefore, I cannot evaluate the quality of play beyond the obvious. So, those of you who know, how good a game did Jewell play?
Watching the Iowa game I was told that Jewell is an excellent linebacker and his focus was on Saquon. I heard his name all night from the announcers. He played hard and the Iowa board calls his game a "performance for the ages".
How "good" a game did he play [not how hard did he play] if Saquon set a school record for total yards, rushed for 211 yards [averaging over 7 yds/carry], and caught 12 passes?
