How loud was the crowd compared to the OSU game or any other past game?

The stadium was electric at the start. There were times that it was really loud when Iowa had the ball. They were well prepared for the crowd though. I was surprised they only had a couple of 5 yarders on O.

I believe we are in a highly hyped up frame of mind as we now expect to win, when earlier we didn't know what to expect. This is the sign of our team playing at a very high level lately that should continue. Next week in Indy could be a trap game, so our team and coaches must stay focused!

Watching on TV, it sure sounded like our fans were into this game from beginning to end!

Ohio State was louder and more raucous from beginning to end. Yesterday was probably only average decibels for a Whiteout game. But that's still loud enough to disrupt an opposing offense.

Loudest it got was the series Iowa tried to run right after that balony call on the late hit out of bounce penalty on their QB. The place was shakin until we got the ball back. Their next 3 plays were a 3 and out right after that bogus call and it was obvious the crowd noise after that call stuck their offense for those 3 plays in quick sand.

Overall though, it just reinforced to a couple of us at the game that if they ever are stupid enough to reduce the capacity, they are just looking for another way to stuff their pockets with money. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Not only is that Stadium not broke, it may already be one of the greatest shows on the Planet.

Not as loud as Ohio St game but to be expected as they were No.2 and our hatred of tOSU must exceed that of Iowa. The noise was good, effective, and fairly constant even though Iowa was out of it early in the game. I think collectively we all wanted to crush Iowa for past losses. Personally I was into it but held back a little bit to save my voice which shot after the Suckeye game. All in All it was a great unofficial Whiteout (very good white show) with 106,000+ in the stands.

Very loud from the first quarter till our first score in the 3rd quarter at that point it was pretty obvious Iowa couldn't hang and it was a little less rowdy. But great crowd.
