Agree. He's VERY influential...so when he calls something a fluke, it takes hold nationally. I think that was my original point. He became a big time OSU homer with his 2016 comment....like he usually does at some point...but it is typically much more subtle. He is often very supportive of a school before they play OSU and even after...if the Buckeyes win. If they lose, however, and that school possibly threatens post season future of his vaunted Bucks, he will sabotage and obfuscate...in this case, with his "fluke" and "eye test" narratives.
As to his schedule, yes he is very busy and very well known. I have a difficult time listening to him though as he and Fowler feel the need to never have even a second of quiet airtime while doing a game. Sometimes the best announcers know when to shut the hell up and just let the moment be. i'll give Herbie credit though for one time when he was uncharacteristically quiet on a broadcast...the moment Marcus Allen blocked the FG until he announced his next game. CF had to carry him to the end of that one.
