How the ****…..

How is the train off the tracks exactly??
4-5
7-5 (could be 7-6)
Next year likely a rebuilding year.

Some people would call that off the tracks, especially for a team with the second highest attendance in the country and an $85 million coach.

I've watched every single game of both teams this season. Arkansas is going to get 5-7 yards a clip running the ball straight down PSU's throat.
I've watched every single game of both teams too.

Four starters on defense not playing isn't good for PSU so I'm not sure what will happen, but if PSU had their starting 11, Arkansas wouldn't score more than 17 points.

In the last five full seasons, 3 NY6 bowls and 2 New Year's Day bowls. I wouldn't call that "off the rails".
The train in my opinion has been off the tracks for the past two years. Look at the record. It comes down to winning. If we are honest the only reason we are playing in this bowl game is the money that is generated by the PSU following and the "brand".

Are you serious with this question? Have you not watched the past two seasons? We are 11-10 the past two seasons. Is that what we expect for Penn State Football, a .500 winning percentage? That may be fine for you, but that is not fine for me because we should be better than that. We should be competing for Big Ten championships year in and year out, not struggling to stay middle of the pack in the Big Ten East. Franklin is being paid as a top 10/15 coach in the country, and last I checked we won’t finish in the top 25 for two seasons in a row. And don’t even try to come up with COVID-related excuses for the past two seasons, because all teams have had to endure COVID.
Top ten now, over 9 million per year.

No doubt about it.

There's no doubt Purdue deserved a January 1st bowl more than we did. Or even Minnesota, for that matter. They showed up and took care of business in their games. And then there's us.

Granted, can't conclude too much based on a bowl game with so many opt outs. But the bigger picture is very alarming.

It will destroy college football . Wait until they opt out after two losses . It will happen.

We can agree to disagree. We are Penn State, not Rutgers. Two years in a row with a losing conference record gets you fired at most blue blood programs. Wonder what the FranklinBots are gonna say when PSU goes 7-5 again in 2022?

Why mention Rutgers....
