How the Penn State Criminal Story continues 4 years later

The basis for this "STORY" concerning Penn State Criminality was carefully constructed in a series of knowingly engineered misinformation by the PA OAG in 2011. The OAG constructed a story based on the same methods of misinformation, partial truths, legal speculations and politically connected "hit men" used for successful political targeting of opposing election adversaries. It is the resulting "STORY" created in this formula that we still struggle with after all this time and its is this artifical fiction that continuously re-emerges in articles, talk shows and TV.

Let's summarize how this constructed "STORY" became reality and how reality then became insignificant....

(1) The "story" sold to the public was one that THEY WANTED TO BELIEVE!! The public believes that all College football is corrupt and the "model program" at Penn State run by Joe Paterno FOR ALL HIS YEARS was a lie!! The student athlete focus promoted by Paterno was a nothing but a coverup for the dirtiest program in NCAA history - a criminal Football culture that placed winning abover everything else. The core of the story is a "direct hit" into what the public wanted to believe!!

(2) The State of PA insured that no real evidence was available to anyone by using the secrecy provisions of the Grand Jury Process and Presentment. For over 4 years, this has been the major "weapon" used to promote an otherwise absurd case of PSU Football criminality as "PUBLICLY ACCEPTED FACTS". Once the public buys into this "story, it becomes self perpetuating and leads to more "misinformation" which allows new media comments to further spiral more misinformation and reinforce the basic story and further illusions about Penn State. A engineered deception that is as logically absurd as the Paterno/Penn State Evil Football culture CAN NOT BE SOLD UNLESS THE TRUTH IS HIDDEN, In this case the Grand Jury Process has provided LEGAL PROTECTION for information that would effect the truth and real criminal justice.

(3) Even when the "PUBLICLY ACCEPTED" "STORY" is PROVEN to be totally wrong....... this "STORY" that the public WANTS TO BELIEVE can not be replaced UNLESS it is replaced by a darker, even more "want-to-believe" addendum to "The STORY".

SO....Here is where we are now.... with a "STORY" so PUBLICLY ACCEPTED that it has a life of its own. That is why we still see Paterno-bashing on SNL, that is why we have articles about Penn State Football covering up pedophilia.

It is NOW - 4 years later - a matter of fact that the current "STORY" is not the truth and that means that REAL CRIMES REMAIN UNPUNISHED.

The matter of reminding the public that REAL CRIMES remain open. These crime can only be corrected by our own ENGINEERED PUBLIC-RELATIONS DRIVEN effort which points out where these crimes can exist. This is the only way to change "THE STORY" and start to reclaim our real reputation.

An objective person who reads all of the available evidence should realize that the GJ Presentment included statements that were inaccurate and that Freeh's findings were largely speculation.

But that's a far cry from PROVING the allegations of "failure to report" and "coverup to protect football" to be false. Unfortunately those things will probably never be proven.

The focus has been on Joe more than on anyone else involved, including sandusky, and it has been established that Joe did all that the law allowed. Joe also was commended by the OAG in November 2011. Furthermore, frank fina said on national TV in 2013 that he found no evidence that Joe participated in a cover-up. No one cares.

The fact that the entire "Penn State Scandal" (in ALL ITS FORMS) requires LEGAL PROOF is alarming. Why... because the case AGAINST Paterno, its Football culture and the actions taken by its administrators (C/S/S) have not ONE whit of FACT associated with them.

As I previously stated, the "Story" was CAREFULLY CONSTRUCTED in a manner that matched what the public WANTED TO BELIEVE.... so it never required any facts!!! When you try to "PROVE" existing "Story" is an illusion, you are going against what people want to believe - a "SPIN DOCTOR's" Story that was possible in ONE of maybe 200 possible scenarios. And this one-in-200 version was, when considering facts and motives, the LEAST believable!!!! This kind of sale of non-reality requires PROFESSIONAL HELP to construct and make effective. Mmmm...who has the access and the money for such specialized skills and experience????? Any guesses???

The standards for any debate or change - the "Truth" versus the "Story" are ALWAYS GOING TO BE UNEQUAL as the "Story" requires only allegations...not facts. That is why you need to fight fire with fire and promote an EXTENSION TO THE "STORY" that is based on an even more EASILY CONSUMED PUBLIC belief of basic wrongdoing.

Based on what is known now as fact, it is obvious that our legal system and criminal enforcement system is corrupted beyond words. In fact, there is undeniable evidence to support the allegation that it has been actually PROTECTING those individuals with the most plausible motives for crimes.

The challenge is to beat this thing on its own turf.....to give the Court of Public Opinion a reason to "re-think" the "STORY" as it has existed. That means creating DOUBT in the public mindset and replacing it with a scandal with even a GREATER public disgust factor.

What we need is a media blitz from a general mass media that does not want anyone to "re-think" its past illusions. This may SEEM impossible, but I am quite certain that there are "ways" - maybe not standard ways - to get the media exposure required. Time to think outside the box.

I'm not sure Joe did all that the law allowed. Following up doesn't mean interfering in the investigation. Fina saying that he didn't find evidence that Joe participated in a coverup doesn't mean that there was no coverup.

We agree that the evidence against Joe is flimsy and pure speculation, but it's nearly impossible to PROVE innocence. It's a shame that our own BOT threw him under the bus without an investigation. That gave the media all they needed to pile on. I'm just hoping that C/S/S come to trial and testify about what was actually said. That still won't "PROVE" innocence but it will help a little.
