I am so confused. Can a lib help me out?

Libs are so confusing. There are ~13,000 murders by gun each year so the libs answer is to confiscate all guns....or at least make ownership onerous enough to discourage such. But there are ~38,000 deaths due to drug overdose each year and the lib answer is to...........wait for it..........legalize all drugs so that anyone can buy them!

I am so confused!
