I can speak for the Big Ten when I say we’re thrilled Franklin is staying put

In 3rd place jimmy you trust.....
Seriously. I have my reservations about Franklin, but if anyone should be quiet about other team’s coaches it’s Michigan fans. They have the perpetually embarrassing and underperforming Jimmah Harbaugh.

I know it’s been a long time but if Michigan fans are going to attempt to troll now- go learn from the Iowa fans. This is just weak. 😂

They can't do it - it's not in their DNA. Eventually, they're going to beat OSU - it's gotta happen someday, you would think. And when that that day happens, all of the B1G boards will get overrun by those a-holes with claims of being back, the winningest CF program of all-time, and that they're the Harvard of the Midwest. It's coming, just watch

Maybe the worst in game coach in the conference.

Even die hard Lions fans know this to be true
I don't want you banned, but geez, talk about a lack of self awareness.

Your boy, Jimmy Harbaugh, has pretty much knocked you guys down to a CLEAR third in the conference.

Franklin IS a bad game day coach. Anyone can see it.

But he's a great recruiter.

Here's hoping to the "Harvard of the Midwest" going the way of Harvard Football.

I cannot stand you guys. I'm fine with OSU.

Sanctimonious pricks.

Well,......Harbaugh just beat Penn State and he didn't have to "out coach" anybody. His team just didn't make a ton of stupid mistakes. So who's the better "coach"?

Yeah, this nails it.

Harbaugh is the classic nosepicker who insists on playing 1990s football, which will ensure that Michigan will never beat the elite. They will beat OSU eventually.......but not with any consistency. And if they do, they'll be boatraced by an elite SEC team in the postseason. Because Harbaugh doesn't win in December/January, period.

This is a fan base that clings to the "most wins ever" claim, but they know that gap has been steadily closing. It's all they have. That and "we have great academics" -- the classic argument when football has gone to shit.

1/2 title since the 1940s. And nobody outside of Ann Arbor believes that '97 team would have beaten Nebraska that year. Haven't won a conference title in 17 years. Can't beat OSU. Rarely beats MSU. Can't win bowl games.

LOL.

And CJF has won more B1G championships than Jimmy (even with harsh sanctions despite UM and tOSU having scandals that were as bad or worse). And, PSU has won more B1G championships in football than UM this century as well regardless of head coach.

Uh, that team did beat us 34-8 at home, and it wasn't that close. Not sure they couldn't have beaten Nebraska.

And our '97 team was comically overrated. The warning signs were there -- the two games leading up to the Michigan game, a 1-point win over a 3-9 Minnesota team, and a 3-point win over a 5-7 Northwestern team.

Look what a 7-5 Michigan State did to us later that year. 2x 200-yard rushers in the same game. Won by 35.

That Michigan defense was nasty. But the offense was really, really average. In contrast, Nebraska was among the nation's best on both sides of the ball. Steamrolled a very, very good Tennessee team to claim half the title.

There is ZERO ZERO reason why we shouldn't be in the hunt. The talent we have and this was the product. Again we are now hearing 23-24 should be our year with recruits. Well that depends how many stay versus de commit and that negative wave is NOT over, and also if Franklin is still the coach. He could have NFL talent equal to any of the top 5 NFL teams and he would destroy it as he has and always will!!

Nebraska really lost the same day Michigan beat us. Unfortunately, the officials made a bad call and they escaped with a win. The 1997 team wasn't as good as 1995 on offense. No Tommy Frazier or Lawrence Phillips to deal with. Just Scott Frost and Ahman Green, both lesser talents. I think Michigan would have had a good chance of shutting/slowing them down. The offense probably would have been better if Lloyd went with the more talented QB instead of the senior, but the GOAT sat on the bench that year.

Philosophy question of the day:
If Ole_Ted starts a thread and everyone has him on ignore, does the thread still exist?

I think Michigan fans should concentrate on their voodoo dolls praying that someday Jimmy beats OSU.
