You would think OSU and Wisconsin were proven entities with multiple wins against top teams and PSU had barely squeaked by the sisters of the poor if you listen to them. How can you call PSU unproven yet think OSU has proven they have fixed their issues? They have played no one for the last 4 weeks and still are getting great respect. Wisconsin who has played poorly against Northwestern at home for 3 quarters and also played no one is being vaunted as this great defense and balanced team. PSU went to Northwestern the week after they outplayed Wisconsin for 3 of 4 quarters and just stifled them. PSU dominated the same Indiana team that gave OSU fits and just took Michigan to OT but still no love just doubt.
Not that what they think matters since this will all play out on the field but I am nonetheless perplexed that they talk about such great defenses of OSU, Michigan and Wisconsin but constantly overlook PSU’s defense that is #1 in the nation in scoring defense and talk about competition they have played. What great offenses have any of these other defenses shut down? Just wondering.
