After falling behind 24-14, in the last quarter and a half Penn State out scored Indiana 31-7 and out gained them 223 to 72. All of this was done on the road against a pretty decent Indiana team while retooling an offensive line during the game. With a week to prepare instead of a half of a game, we should be able to do just as well or better against Rutgers.

That's not the only time we've seen a strong, even dominant second half performance. Look at games vs Minnesota, Ohio State, Purdue, and even Pitt. It all represents a positive statement about the resilience, conditioning, depth, and coaching of this team.

Imagine what filling out the depth of this team with the same high caliber recruits Franklin & staff are bringing in will mean to this team next year and beyond!

".....I gotta wear shades!"

This is perhaps the most impressive characteristic of this team (including "team everyone" here, coaches as well as players) - this ability to come from behind and have very strong 4th quarters. At home and on the road too (Indiana, Purdue, Pitt).
