As I finally smoke my victory cigar, and enjoy “some” Hop Knife ale from Troegs, while grilling burgers and sausage outside my man cave garage (nothing fancy, but lots of atmosphere)...I thought those were some VERY good reps in garbage time for the 2nd stringers against scUM’s 1st team. And Wade’s performance stood out to me with his closing speed and tackling, especially late in the game when he was out on an island. Those are at the fullest of speed against elite CFB athletes and coaching. Better than any practice situation for experience and learning. Thought Wade saved a TD when he cut down whoever. And he made a nice recovery to help separate the ball from a receiver on another play.
