5 NCAA appearances in that 55 year span. There is NO excuse for a major sports program such as ours to be that pitiful. I know we are not in an urban area but other schools in rural areas have better programs than this. The only answer is to pay big bucks to a name coach who can recruit and teach the fundamentals of a successful program. We turned around lacrosse, wrestling and track and field and have greatly improved our swimming teams. Enough of this mediocrity!!!
