I have turned in all you posters to the Penn State administrators ! See link

At Pennsylvania State University, no hurt feeling is too small, no slight too inconsequential, no unintentionally biased statement too unimportant.

Administrators want to know it all.

The public university is in the midst of a massive campaign that encourages students not only to watch what they say, lest they offend someone, but also to report any and all biased statements to campus officials.

“There is no place for hate, overt or subtle, at Penn State – such actions do not represent our mutually held values,” Eric Barron, president of Penn State, stated in a recent message to the campus community.

“Penn State stands firmly behind free speech and free expression, even in those instances when the views being expressed are disturbing or insulting, or the actions hurtful,” Powers told The College Fix. “The First Amendment doesn’t just apply to those who express ideas with which we agree. It also applies to those whose ideas we may find challenging, repugnant or even appalling. By providing an outlet for individuals to report bias they have seen or experienced, we are giving them an equal right to express their thoughts and feelings on the matter.”

No wonder we can't beat Ohio State or Michigan

Wow, beyond freaking bizarre given that The University is potentially providing a public forum for LIBEL and SLANDER! People do not have a right to libel and slander those they do not like on a public forum. Given that there is no requirement to prove your accusations on this forum before posting and that it is being sponsored by The University using The University's Resources, I would think the The University is buying themselves a liability for people who can prove that they are being illegally slandered and libeled on the forum. This is the most absurd thing I have ever heard of and essentially amounts to The University taking sides and giving an "accuser" standing while presuming that the accused is guilty as charged on the forum - huh? These bastions of the "Ivory Tower" think this is in any way fair or appropriate to the rights of both parties???

Let's see, playing intramural softball at PSU and fired a fastball from left center to 3rd based to gun down the runner and I hit the baserunner in the head with the ball. He called me every name in the book and started to the outfield before changing his mind. could I turn him in for a hate crime? His language was pretty abusive until someone told him I was a Viet Nam vet.

Hey, wait a second. Did I and every other alum just get standing to sue the admin and bot for all the nasty and hurtful things they said about all us alumni?

If not, I say report EVERYTHING until the stupid system dies.

Yes indeed. Let us start with Frazier, shall we.

It's a pleasure to be investigated. I will do my best to assure the candy-ass investigators chase their tail till their head goes up their butt - wait a minute, maybe that's where their head is already.

It's probably a good thing that we have the #1 on-line Bachelor's degree program. So now you can get a degree with minimal interaction with any of the thin-skinned candy ass ultra liberal free speech as-long-as-you-agree-with-me a..holes that are currently attending and running our formerly great institution of higher learning. Geez, I hope that didn't offend anyone. I know I feel better!

Your post couldn't have been any more stupid, or untrue.

Good job!

Like the definition of barren: small, nothing to see here, as teeny weeny, with no fruit, deserted, without courage of conviction, Barron, spineless jelly, a lion without heart.
Wtf
Minor aggression?
Are you friggin kidding me.

Man...Penn State has become almost unrecognizable as the place I used to have so much pride in when I was a student. And it has been only 5 years since I graduated!!!

It's only natural to feel that way as an older alumnus, but your post speaks volumes as to what's going on there. They have done a truly remarkable job of marginalizing and alienating the alumni base.

Gee, I wonder why Barron the Boob didn't preach his "minor aggression" bull$hit while at F$U where he was busy apologizing and defending the MAJOR AGGRESSIONS of Jameis Winston and his fellow violent convict mates on the football team where there were more arrests for "Violence Against Women" under Barron's tenure than any other FBS Program in the nation! Barron also made a statement on behalf of, and in defense of, Jameis Winston and the F$U Athletic Department who illegally shared confidential investigation information obtained via the F$U campus police - unreal that this raving hypocrite is now going to yammer about a forum who presumes the accused guilty of "micro aggressions" of absurd source.

Its why they have now been forced, after Barron announced only a few months ago, to abandon his big fundraising project in favor of much smaller project specific fundraisers.

I went to the link and read the comments and this is my favorite.

I think I'll go to State College, PA, stand on street corner, and deliberately say overtly aggressive statements to PSU students. Then when they whine; I'll slap 'em around like the sissy bitches they are. What fun! Who wants to join me?

Does anyone know this a-hole? Anyone do business with this company?

I won't be donating anymore money to the university for any reason . I have no reason to support the school anymore .

LOL, I'm not there at this point, but I'm thinking that if I decide to commit an aggression, it won't be of the "micro" variety.
