I'm not a huge fan of this old logo style, but love the rose bowl superimposed over the nittany lion logo. Does anyone know how to do this with the newer oval nittany lion logo?

I just did a quick down and dirty version.
Not sure how I can post it though?

Thanks BBrown! I never noticed how much the blue vs white was so imbalanced until your graphic. I like the old logo a little better, or at least that logo superimposed over the rose bowl logo. Thanks again for your effort though.

yea its a little tough, the rose logo is so circular than it just doesn't want to fit with the oval logo. I think I could do it better but would have to redo the rose logo.
And yes the "negative" space really helps to shape the lion logo.
I might play with it a little more.

Is it just me or are you reversing the blue and the white on the chipmunk logo?

no you are right. There isn't enough "negative" space or white area to put the rose logo in it. It wouldn't look like anything. So I reversed it and made the white, blue and the white area the roses.
Still doesn't work for me it was just an attempt.

I guess you would have to modify the chipmunk logo to balance the blue and white first and then superimpose over the rose bowl graphic. I continue to be impressed by your wizardry with graphics.
