I think people are missing the boat regarding emmert’s Comments

from what I’m reading, he is basically saying no one will be punished until later. That way the tournament goes on as usual and everybody pockets their money. Then if they have to later they can vacate wins/championships. Doesn’t matter because the NCAA, networks, and advertisers will all have made their money. He wants no part of taking top teams out of the playoffs and putting smaller, no draw teams in.

They did that with Memphis, as I recall, after telling Memphis it was ok to play the kid in question.
