hearts out. On Sunday afternoon and evening I couldn't believe what I was reading from some posters on this board. Calling out players for being the "worst on the field", the coaching staff for not being more creative on offense and even criticizing the staff writers from BWI for being too kind in their Grades of the Game. We won a big game against an opponent who came into Beaver stadium and very badly wanted to knock our heads off. The offense played well, the defense was outstanding and ST's were remarkable. Yet, for some, this wasn't enough. They had to criticize, demean and make harsh comments about, not only the team, but individuals on the team. This goes way beyond the bounds of being a Penn State supporter.....these kids are busting their asses every day to give us a product that we can be proud of. The coaching staff is putting in an unbelievable amount of time and energy to make these players better and the BWI staff, works extremely hard to satisfy our insatiable desire to have as much access to the team as possible.
So to those of you who want to criticize, demean and make harsh comments, why don't you just sit back and enjoy this young team, this persistent staff and this hard working BWI staff. We should all be on the same page and what was posted yesterday, by a FEW, only tears at the fabric of what is trying to be achieved here.
