Feeding possibly?? Backed up all through his intestine and then some but he was going regular for me..How did this happen??

Oh dear Lord!!

Going to try and clean him out as they say.

On IV to guard against dehydration for the day.

Unreal!!

$539 vet bill and climbing probably.

Not kennel cough so he believes due to lack of other symptoms.

From an online source:
While Bordetella is the most common cause of kennel cough in dogs, it is not the only one. Other bacteria and viruses, including the parainfluenza virus, can also cause kennel cough, which means that even vaccinated dogs can get kennel cough from another source.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! M*ther F*cker!!!!!!

Yes, he did have the shots.

I even asked the guy if he ever had an outbreak of this.

Vets today in 1 hour.

I think I should demand that they reimburse the cost of vet bill. Should I even try to get my money back?

I didn't pay $368 to get my dog infected ya know!!!

What are your own personal stories/experiences regarding this?
Had the same thing happen some years ago.

Sorry to read about this. We stopped using kennels several years ago. Our dog was very emotional when we would take him. He would not eat or use the doggie door to go to the bathroom. He would just lay on the concrete floor. It got to the point where the kennel would no longer accept him unless we took him to a doggie psychologist first. F' that. We were given the name of a "Pet Nanny" in our area. Not sure if you have them in your area. It is not cheap. They charge about $16-$18 per visit. Usually get 3 visits a day while we are away. They will walk, feed, let him out and play with him during the visit. They send a text message update after each visit, most times with a photo or short video. It keeps him in his own familiar surroundings with less stress, no Vet visits, no travel to and from kennel. I would check to see if there is something similar in your area. Hope he is feeling better soon.

They have two really nice kennels in York with people I trust.Yes they are expensive, but my dog loved it there.I go to a boarding house in Hilton Head that has onsite vets.Dogs are allowed on the beach before 10 and after 5.I ran that German Short Hair into the sand. They ever treated him for a jelly, poor guy.I had a nerdy new Honda Odidisey for three years so my kid and him could watch movies for 10 hours.I guess we were more resilient.

Boy, I'm glad I don't have a dog. Too expensive and really complicates traveling, even short trips.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph, it’s the 21st century Glov. Use the internet and google “ How to scare a dog shitless “. I swear to God such a site exists with multiple suggestions. Which should be another hint as to the coming apocalypse.
