per a GAO study...

A few counterpoints if I may...

ICE responded to the GAO report by saying "100% of the veterans were deported because of drugs, sexual abuse, firearms, explosives, kidnapping and other charges..." Case closed! Surely WaPo is not suggesting we should naturalize criminals. WTH are they trying to say, anyway?

So Hector Barajas-Varela served in the Army six years but didn't make an effort to petition his command for citizenship? Sloth is no excuse. Here's a novel concept for DOD. If a non-citizen service member earns a combat deployment ribbon then he becomes a citizen automatically. Not to mention Hector has a rap sheet...

To Rep. Mark Takano. 200,000 illegal aliens have crossed our border since December. This year alone Customs and Immigration Enforcement is on target to process 1M aliens. Immigration courts face a 17-month backlog. The vast majority of aliens released into the interior never appear for their court date. Therefore, how could anyone ascribe "policies and procedures" to a system that's broken. It's like putting a band aid on a gushing head wound.

So Xilong Zhu entered country on a student visa, claims he didn't know his school was fake and never went to class. Got it! Just when you think there are limits to how stupid the Fake News thinks we are they exceed it. Kick him out. Send his @ss packing for "The Peoples'" Republic.

Trump could end the immigration crisis tomorrow by issuing an EO, declaring English as the official language and denying people dual-citizenship. And no more conditions on your Americanism (i.e., African-American, Italian-American, Irish-American etc...). You're either all-in or be gone. After all, this is the greatest country in the world. Yes? So leverage it. Barring that, close the amnesty loophole. I didn't know 'poverty' was justification for the granting of amnesty. We are in big trouble if it is.

Lastly, immigration law has become a cottage industry. Time to impose a special occupational tax on those who are "gainfully employed" in the field.

I thank you and let's keep it real.
