I say this, but I am still an Eagles fan. I'd rather see Barkley with a team who can improve, than with Cleveland where it is hard to see any improvement with a head coach that signed a 2 year extension after going 1-31 the last 2 years!

Lol. Troublemaker!!Browns IMO are closer then the Giants.

Trades are possible so no knowing who SB goes to but if the 49ers take him, look out with he and Jimmy G running the offense

I honestly believe this. The Browns had like 6-7 games that were winnable this year including 2 vs Pittsburgh.
Giants will still have a bad D, over the Hill turnover machine QB, and prima dona WR.
I'm sorry, but as an Eagles fan, Barkley going to the Giants would be the worst thing possible. It really would make it hard to ever want to see him win a game. Colts/niners/browns please!!
Giants were 11-5 last year. Problem is they have the worst o line in the league. If they spent $ and picks on o line after taking Saquon, they would be good next year. Eli, Barkley, Beckham, that other young wideout from OU...Browns IMO are closer then the Giants.
If so, might be via trade as Indy seems to have a good one in Mack and bigger holes elsewhere.Rosen and Darnold both declared so that may push Barkley to
3.
Maybe but I think that changed when ez Elliot made such a big impact in Dallas. I'll be surprised if he drops passed fifth.I saw a mock draft that had Saquon falling to the redskins. The issue is that the RB is seen as a commodity now and there isn’t as much value placed upon them as opposed to QB, Left tackles, and high end CBs

If you were an NFL GM, would you draft Rosen before Barkley? Rosen seems so “fragile” (and Darnold seems lazy to me).Rosen and Darnold both declared so that may push Barkley to

How did you reach the conclusion that Darnold is "lazy"? smh
The Darnold seems lazy comment is just asinine
And Leonard Fournette with the Jags last year. I don't think there's any chance the consensus "best player in the draft" falls to 8. If he's still there at 5, somebody is trading up for him. I think he goes "2".Maybe but I think that changed when ez Elliot made such a big impact in Dallas. I'll be surprised if he drops passed fifth.

Have you not noticed how “chunky” Darnold is? He is athletically-gifted, but he’s physically lazy.

Sure, there are exceptions, and I think Barkley may be one.... but there are not enough QBs to fill all of the starting positions and more than enough RBs. I would expect Barkley to go early, but not in the top three.Saquon is no commodity.
I doubt there is any running back in this draft that can do what Saquon can do as a runner, as a pass receiver, and as a blocker, all in one player. He's an every down back that can be used in a large variety of ways. I heard him described the other day as Marshall Faulk, but bigger and stronger. A commodity is when you can easily replace one thing with another. That's not the case with Saquon. He's very much differentiated from a normal running back, which by definition makes him NOT a commodity. Not picking on you at all. Just explaining.Sure, there are exceptions, and I think Barkley may be one.... but there are not enough QBs to fill all of the starting positions and more than enough RBs.
