If Alabama wins tonight, is Saban the best ever?

With media scrutiny being what it is these days, I would think "cheating" is far less likely than it was in years gone by.
For that reason I think the playing field is more even today than ever, and for someone to enjoy the success that Saban has had in such a competitive environment is amazing.
"Best ever" can never be determined objectively, but hard to argue that he's not currently the best.

All of you crying "cheater" need to get in touch with some Auburn or Tennessee boosters. They will pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for this definitive evidence of cheating that you must possess. Our program is probably the most scrutinized in CFB, not just by the NCAA but by our rivals.

I'm sure you have that hard evidence of violations. You surely would not accuse someone of wrongdoing without due process, right?

Actually, I do not think Alabama cheats. The "NCAA rules" are the problem. There is NO real standard beyond the vocational (see: plumbers) training. AND the NCAA money machine is ALL there is.
There is so much WRONG morally with all Div 1 sports it is kind of sad for the vast majority. Sabin and others do not want to fight the "system". If you can't beat them join them. Does that make Saben a cheater, no.

Why not? It's been done to us 100x worse than you could imagine, and no one has ever apologized.
So are you saying that it is ok for you to do something like this?

If so, you really haven't learned from that experience.

I'm just negatively reinforcing wrong behaviors, to help people learn. Apparently you haven't learned anything yet, and aren't doing anything to help. So sad. Why not go back to the Minnybama board and reflect?

I have learned how deep your hypocrisy runs, thanks for proving my point. As you say, so sad.

With all respect, I have no idea whether those cars are legit or not or any degree of cheating so I won't even comment on it. That said, after some comments you've made in other threads with regard to CSS issues, you really have no room to try and lecture anyone on due process. Not trying to pick a fight (really not) but at the same time I have a hard time reading through this thread as you try to lecture other posters with a moving goalpost approach depending on whether we are talking about Alabama or CSS/ Paterno/ Penn State.

You're right because we all know that 5 star, blue chip prospects can't wait to go to a school where they can sit the bench behind other 5 star blue chip prospects without getting anything material. Hell, most schools can't get 3 star recruits to sit the bench, but Bama can do it because all their kids want is a good education.

It's obvious you've learned nothing, so sad. Thanks for proving my point.
