If Penn State wins the OSU game, what does it do, at least in your eyes, as far as

cementing CJF as a great football coach- one of the best- who Penn State is fortunate to have? Not sure if this question is geared more towards the people on the fence with CJF and the haters, but just curious what a win this weekend would do to your perception of the man?

I will be beyond thrilled if PSU wins. This game or any one game for that matter would never change my mind about a coach. PSU has a coach that IMO is the perfect fit. 10-2 or 11-1, both incredible considering the day I had when I visited state college on 7/23/12.

I already have a fairly high opinion of him, but winning a game of this magnitude would eliminate the one concern I have.

Would not change my opinion win or lose. CJF is a great fit for PSU. He understands the culture and promotes the same. Don't always like the way games turn out, but happy he is the HC.

It would catipult he and the program to elite, which he expressed is his burning desire and give him the chance he so badly wants, to win a natty as the first african american. It would be enormous.

Otherwise, he's a good coach and one I'm fine with keeping around a few more years. Deep down, the Minnesota game is what irks him because that was the difference of 11-1 at least Rose Bowl to 10-2 possible Outback/not elite talk. And it was right there for the taking and it may cost a couple staffers their jobs.

Yup, my sentiments exactly. Although, I'd like him to stay for his entire career, think he gets the big picture stuff right which is 80% of the battle.

I agree with what most have said. CJF is a great coach and we are fortunate to have him. A win Saturday puts him up there with the best in the game coaching today.

I don't think Penn State losing this game will be his fault regardless. I think there are coaching adjustments to be made, but even losing by less than 2 touchdowns would be a good sign. This Ohio State team is simply an extremely talented squad. The expectations in Columbus with this type of team is to win it all. I sure hope we give it our best effort, but based on recent games and our issues offensively with finding consistent WR play and the woeful secondary, we may be doomed this weekend for any reasonable chance at a win. Still think Franklin is the guy for the job, some staff changes may be needed though.
