I mean Syracuse..now ranked #13. I've watched 3 games- FSU, Clemson and NC St. They blew FSU away and lost a heart break to Clemson where they should have won. I guess Pitt was loss in OT but Achilles heel seems to be DL and both losses were rush stop related late in game. They beat up a ranked NC State team and offense overall looks great. Dungey is a big QB who can run. Reminds me of Stevens. You have to give Babers credit as his offense has been pretty good for several years with low star talent. D is a problem but Cuse can't recruit with big boys so hats off for keeping them competitive. His OC is Mike Lynch and if we were to change, I would have no issue pinching someone from Babers staff. Thoughts?

I will be there. My cousin (ND grad) is coming up from GA and bought a bunch of tickets. My mom is a Cuse grad so I have soft spot. My bro is Cuse die hard. Should be a great game.

First year with a winning record, and its against a poor ACC conference. I am always nervous about the flavor of the month.

For those of us illiterate or just plain ignorant of acronym-speak on a message board, does anyone wanna explain TTUN?

Woody Hayes referred to UM as The Team Up North. Just a play on that

He has fielded some good offenses but D has been bad. Tough to recruit with Dome facilities and no fan support. He isn't flavor of month but rather a coach showing how good he is like at BGSU. He will be a hot name this year..watch.

The ACC is Clemson and 13 other teams that should be playing in the MAC. The fact that Syracuse has a decent record by beating MAC level talent is meaningless. Even the hapless pitters beat them. I wouldn't touch any coach currently at Syracuse.

Entitled to opinion but Cuse beat Clemson last year and had them on ropes at Clemson before third string QB made huge pass on 4th down on final drive. We are not exactly lighting it up against even average OSU and MSU teams last few years.

Ya, I thought this thread was going to be about Texas Tech. They had Oklahoma on the ropes this past weekend.

I don't think Sorryexcuse is anywhere on the same planet as Michigan when it comes to being worthy of identifying initials.

This came up last year when they beat some bad teams early. Syracuse is not good. They beat W. Mich, Wagner, FSU, UConn, UNC, NC State (decent team), Wake. They play Louisville (awful), ND, and BC. They probably lose the last two.

The Team Up North (?)
Ya, I did the Google thing to find out what the hell he was referring and this popped up....TTUN jokes.

•A Professor invents an IQ machine that boosts a person's IQ to 300 and
then starts counting backward. He connects his wife to it, turns it off
at 190, and she starts explaining quantum physics. He tries it out on
his brother Bill, turns it off at 175, and Bill starts talking advanced
calculus. Then he plugs in his cousin Bob. Just then the phone rings,
and it's a telemarketer. By the time he gets back to unplug Bob, the
machine is counting down: 14 - 13 - 12. He slams the switch to "off,"
shakes Bob and screams, "Say something!" and Bob says, "Go blue!"

A Michigan fan was sitting at a table reading the Newspaper, The
headline read: "12 Brazilian Soldiers Killed." He shook his head at the
sad news, then turned to the man sitting next to him and asked, "How
many is a Brazilian?

Q. How do you make Wolverine cookies?
A. Put them in a big bowl and beat them for three hours

mediocre team that has played a lot of terrible teams and gotten lucky in tight games. no chance against nd. probably lose against BC and in bowl game.

I assumed you were talking about the OC for Syracuse. Are we seriously talking about a head coaching change? WOW.
Just as a point of reference, the records of Syracuse since Babers took over:
4-8
4-8
7-2 (currently)

That reeks of current flavor of the month. The ACC is awful this year. And yes I am aware of his success at BG.
