He was classy as all his friends where. Must say my buddie and I where impressed with them..They proved to us that there are some classy people in PA.
Also that year I had the pleasure to meet and visit with James English dad and his friends at Big Tens at Madision all of them where classy also..

Iowa hasn't shown up for five Nationals in a row. Questions you pose to me should be posed to your coach. When is Iowa's
diminished capacity to NOT improve their standing at Nationals going to grown old. Evidently the status quo is okay.

As long as you like 2nd and below... I'll keep thinking realistically that Penn State will be back to team National Champ
status next year. The difference is my expectations are realistic and based on a faith that Cael can recruit top tier
talent that translates to the college mat. I gave you a year off. The new year began at Nationals. Back to business as

done by Tim Owens of this Rival site and then look at a possible 2017-2018 Penn State Roster. It could
get uber unlucky for opponents to face the Nittany Lions in future years... starting this coming wrestling season.

Well the Hawks did win the big ten duals and tied for first in the big ten tourney. So I guess not all teams have surpassed them as of the now..Future who knows you could be right or maybe just off some.

Iowa has employed in today's collegiate wrestling world. Penn State, Iowa, Minnesota & Ohio State will compete
for National supremacy, but the Hawks, of any team has not stepped up to the elite offensive level that I and many
collegiate wrestling fans love. They surely despise stalling and I had to side with Ben Askren when he lit up the
Hawkeyes after the National Duals. Didn't take a genius to side with his take on Iowa's unoffensive wrestling. That
less than offensive nature peeked it's ugly head again at Nationals and Iowa got clobbered in the 1st round.

There was so much parity in college wrestling this year and Iowa was senior laden... yet they couldn't get the job
done. I was so used to David Taylor and Ed Ruth leading the way... seeing Iowa wrestle at a much lower skill
level is hard to watch. Any excitement in seeing Nick Moore, Mike Evans, or Bobby Telford wrestle as seniors?

Penn State fans came off a year of Ed Ruth and David Taylor... and I only wish I had both back for one match...

Amalone, I agree with you, I don't like and most of the Hawk fans don't like the way they have been wrestling. Hopefully Tom now with M* doing the recuriting they can get some of the more polished wrestlers. Mike Zadick was a great guy put he just didn't connect with the young guys of today.
