I guess I can agree with that. It can be difficult to just let them spew their garbage without at least trying to defend Cael, the team a/o University. At times I think there are kids or even uniformed fans out there that read that garbage and will believe what they are told. And if no one is giving an opposing view or opinion those same people may take what they are saying as truth.

If there's one person who doesn't need defending, it's Cael. He certainly cares about all of this a whole lot less than we do. Which is to say: not at all.

Seriously doubt many (any?) kids read the message boards. And if they do, our defense is gonna make any difference whatsoever? Besides, the University survived the actual misdeeds, surely it can survive a thread on the Iowa or The Mat boards.

One thing I've always wondered is what if someone flagged that dreck to the mods. Meaning, if a Hawk fan got fed up with it and demanded better (because I'd be shocked if the mods did anything about a PSU fan complaint).

Well said El-jefe. I don't even bother going to HR or other boards except when someone links something of interest and I never post on other boards as even innocent posts are often jumped on, something that also happens here.
