I'm having trouble cancelling my BTN+ account. In past years it's been really easy. Anyone

I had trouble doing it in my phone. There was supposed to be a check box you needed to check and then hit submit to get to the page where you could actually cancel. The check box would not show up on my mobile browser (safari).
It was super easy to cancel using my Chromebook however.
 
Yeah. Took me 15 seconds on my lap top. Of course , my billing date was today and I didn’t cancel early enough. Cost myself $15
 
Very easy to do like everyone else has said. Log onto the account on a computer.
 
Thanks for the help but I've logged in, hit "my account" and can not see any way to get this cancelled. I've sent an email to technical support and hope for a prompt response. Tried to cancel on my laptop and my phone.

I just accomplished this in a few easy steps. Log in to your account (on a computer, not a phone). Click "My Account". Scroll down until you see "UNSUBSCRIBE" in a green bar button. Click "UNSUBSCRIBE". A menu of options describing why you are unsubscribing opens up - click "Other" and then click "UNSUBSCRIBE" again. Your "Subscription" should now have a little red line of text indicating the last day you can access BTN+. And you're all done. You will also receive an email confirming that your subscription was cancelled.

Page down to the bottom of the page and click on Unsubscribe. It's a failing of us old folks (at least this one) to often forget to page down and see what else is there.
 
Like others I was unable from the app on my phone, but easy peasy from the desktop. If done correctly you will receive a cancellation confirmation email.
 
On an Android based phone...

  1. Open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  2. In the Google menu that opens, tap Payments & subscriptions. ...
  3. Tap Subscriptions, then find and select the membership that you want to cancel.
  4. Once its settings page opens, tap Cancel subscription.

Creekside, that only worked for me if I subscribed through Google Play. This year I subscribed on my computer and it didn't show up in Google Play. Last year it was easier to unsubscribe as you show above because I subscribed thru Google Play. I had to use theRealSme method in post # 17.

Does anyone know if you ended up paying a year's subscription, if you get a refund for canceling early?
 
Thanks, that's what I expected. I should have remembered to cancel last year when I originally signed up. Those who plan to cancel, do it before you forget! 😟

Not on the app but in your subscriptions

Settings>your name/Apple ID, iCloud>Subscriptions>BigTen+>scroll all the way to the bottom to Cancel.
 
I finally gave up and emailed tech support at BTN+. Got a very quick response and they went ahead and cancelled my subscription. Thanks to all that tried to help. I'm not that computer literate but I swear that going into the "my account" page got me NOWHERE.
