That would be great, but I will say that wrestling's coverage has gotten a lot better the last 3 years or so with FLO and ESPN's coverage of nationals.
I'm loving the FloArena coverage because if you miss a bout or missed part of a round, you can just go back and click on the bout and get all the action right at your fingertips. I was able to watch the semis in about 2/3 the time this way. Although it's $20/month, it's money well spent imo.
I'm thinking BTN broadcast Midlands becuase it's at a B1G school and this isn't. And, Flo must have the rights to the Scuffle every year.. or at least as long as i can remember.

I don't disagree with the point about more TV coverage, but I believe the BTN only has contractual privileges for events held at B10 universities (Midlands was held at Northwestern). Plus, there are only two B10 teams (PSU and Minny) at the Scuffle. Still, you'd think someone like ESPNU could broadcast the event if they choose to ...
I know the host school, UT-Chat. isn't a BiG school, but the tournament is a showcase for PSU wrestling and PSU is the most exciting program to watch. NCAA wrestling can grow by showcasing teams like PSU and both OSUs. Iowa isn't as much fun to watch, but they are a good villain and it's fun to cheer against them.
In general though, BiG wrestling is amazing and the coverage should be better.
I'll make the jump and subscribe to Flo for the finals. I'm just cautious about it because it's common to hear how deceptive Flo is about their billing.

Flowrestling is worth the $20 a month fee, ESPECIALLY during this time of the year. They cover the Southern Scuffle and just about every major high school wrestling tournament that happens this time of the year. Ten years ago there was no live coverage of any wrestling events anywhere, so I'll happily pay the $20 to be able to watch some great wrestling from the comforts of my living room.
You could spend $20 a month from Nov-March on FLO and pay $100 or pay I think $150 for the year round subscription, which equates to about $12.50 a month. I usually just bought month memberships when i wanted, but recently decided to switch to the year round, for the simple fact that I'm a wrestling nut and I know i'll get my moneys worth with all the documentaries, technique videos, and live events streamed as well as great archived matches. I haven't had billing issues of any sort either, so I'm pretty happy with the product.
Strongly agree. They put the midland tour and it has been weak for years now !!!! We need to e-mail the BTN for real !!!!
