Interesting computer rankings....

No love for Iowa?

Perhaps it's taking into consideration that they are not going to win the turnover battle all year.

ND pushed down.

Us over A&M.

Don't like Clemson and OSU up high. Let others lose some first.

I don’t have much faith in a computer that has OSU higher than the team that beat them and OSU was at home.
The ESPN algorithm

Code:
for name in all_teams:
    if name in [‘Ohio State’, ‘Alabama’, ‘Clemson’, ‘Oklahoma’]:
        ranking[name] = top4_rank(min=1, max=4)
    else:
        ranking[name] = random_rank(min=5, max=130)
return ranking

Is that Fortran 77? That looks like Fortran 77 to me.

Oregon up to #4, Iowa up to #5. We are... #10, just behind the Buckeyes.

Auburn up to #22 here.

Michigan bumps up to #15 from unranked. Wow.
It was that big win over power house Washington….kind of like beating FSU, you’re beating the past more than the present.

No big surprise. Jim and the Big Blue Machine will run the table this year. Bama will start getting nervous when they see the power coming at them in the Playoffs. Michigan is the winningest program in CF history for a reason.
