In Penn State's final five games this season Penn State's offense has been able to put up some very impressive offensive statistics. They have averaged 46.4 points per game, averaged 506.2 total yards of offense per game, scored 28 touchdowns and averaged 7.3 yards per play.

Those are the most impressive offensive statistics I've seen a Penn State offense put up over a five game stretch since Penn State's record breaking offense in 1994. That 1994 Penn State offense had 5,722 yards of total offense in just 12 games, averaged 7.6 yards per play and amassed 68 TDs.

I believe it was the Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator, Chan Gailey, at that time who said Penn State's 1994 offense was the best college football offense he had ever seen.

That is the type of offensive performance that James Franklin and his offensive coordinator, Joe Moorhead, seem dedicated to bring back to the Penn State football program.
