Was asked to attend a press conference this am for the 2016 International Champions Cup.
For you soccer fans another impressive line up including ; Real Madrid , Barcelona , new additions Cektic and Leicester City , , Bayern , Liverpool , Chelsea etc.
New venues in NA include U of Oregon , Ohio State and I believe Michigan.
I only point out that hopefully we start utilizing Beaver Stadium more than just a few home games a year to help generate additional revenue.
Wh yet it's a Professional Soccer game , ICE Hockey or whatever... Believe one would drive many more fans to the stadium.
I had heard Joe was against utilizing the structure for anything but football ( I could be wrong) but times have changed and Sandy and crew need to be exploring many options.
Once our basketball program develops that will certainly help... But Ibthink we need to be looking at many options which also may include beer sales at Beaver as well. IMO.
