Good afternoon. I have been lurking on this forum for a few years now and feel like I should probably start participating as well. I greatly appreciate the match days PBP's and general insight into the wrestlers/coaches.

Not much to say about myself. I'm a central PA native who was born with a genetic love for the sport but not necessarily the physical gifts/determination required to be better than above-average in High School. :p

Anyway, I felt the need to introduce myself before posting comments on all the other threads. Have a great day! :)

"As a free user, there is a limit to how many messages you can post at once. Please wait a while and try again or pay for a subscription!"

Apparently, I am only allowed to post once every so often. This might be a good thing. #everythinginmoderation

Welcome and yes, being new to posting you will receive the subscription post as I did. If it’s a free trial you may cancel at any time. If not you can cancel at the end of the month and your posting will be fine after that. I have also made a donation also to bwi...

I would try to wait it out, most of us have never paid a thing and our posts don’t get held up.

Welcome! I'm a relatively new poster as well but you can see by my post count that I can't stay away! This board is awesome for many reasons but you'll find out for yourself why very soon :)

I had the "post limit" at first but it went away after a bit. I might get put back on it at some point for how much I post :p

Thanks, I already paid last month. It happens when you are new and post. Once people respond to your post you will receive a message about limiting post during a certain time frame. It’s all good only about $10 and you can cancel anytime. So I think the bwi algorithms for new posts are getting smarter...

Welcome Chris!

Anybody else see the last name Watts, and the Introduce Myself subject line, and think of the Rolling Stones, Sympathy for the Devil song? Holy smokes, I was thinking Charlie Watts or Mick Jagger were visiting us at BWI :)

Welcome aboard Chris. I also recently joined after obsessively following this Forum for many years. Lots of very nice and knowledgeable posters here. I appreciate the general good nature of most of the posts, which can't be said for some of the other wrestling forums . . . .

Yes. Chris Watts.

I decided to following Mr. Brooks' excellent example and use my real name. (Also, perhaps because I couldn't come up with a clever username. :))
There was a great coach at warrior run. Coach Watts. Used to be the JV coach when I went there. Great guy. Anyhow welcome to the board

Beat me to it ...

Any relation to Randy?

That guy was a great mix of instructor and complete goofball. Anyone who couldn't have fun with him, must be a miserable person.

Hope he's still doing well.

When you are done paying for that, and if you have any money left, i have some authentic Bobbleheads, Zains headgear, the sheet of paper that was under the one the Nico wrote his steering wheel note on,and a signed dodgeball with a perfect outline of Nick Suriano’s face. Make an offer.

My father. He spent most of his time as the junior high coach. Great guy, one of the best. ;)

This is one of the best and most accurate descriptions of my father that I've ever heard!

He's doing well. Retired but keeping himself busy hiking, summiting mountains, playing with granddaughters, and being unable to keep himself fully away from coaching wrestling. :)

Great to hear! Sounds like he hasn't changed at all. Good for him.

Hopefully he doesn't have too many facial scars from letting the 1986 Milton team cut off his playoff beard with scissors at the postseason family night.
